Christmas gifts

I sewed my Christmas gifts this year. Hotpads for most people and little ornaments for a couple of friends. The wee Christmas trees were made following this tutorial using fabric remnants from making the kids stockings.

Tree OrnamentsThe hotpads I gave you a hint about here. They’re quilted squares from the book in this post, with wadding and plain backs then quilted by stitching in the ditch and then machine bound. I tried to pick colours I thought each recepiant would like and made a pair of each. They’re 6.5″ square.
