I mentioned that I’d made one wrap dress and was planning on making another one but in a smaller size. I actually went down 2 sizes which I think was the right call though there are still a few fit issues (some may be solved by moving the internal button a little). I’m also having trouble keeping the front facing from rolling out (though it gives a bit of extra cleavage coverage which is not a bad thing) and will have to look at how to fix that. Other than changing the sleeve length and leaving out the interfacing in the waistband it is as designed. I’m happy with the finished product and hope to wear it out of the house one day soon. The photos below are not so great – the light was bad and I had only a little bit of time before the children found me but they give you an idea.
Pattern: New Look 6674 B
Sewn for: Me
Fabric: Cotton Interlock from Vend Fabrics in Plum
Thread: Gutermann 257
Notes: Lengthened the sleeves to elbow length, left out the interfacing.
