FO: Lush Cardigan

I finished my cardigan the other day. It’s great, I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out and I think it’ll be great to wear this Autumn/Winter. I worked the pattern pretty much exactly as written for the small size. The only minor hiccup was picking up the stitches for the second half of the lace yoke, the stitches got a little of kilter but it was easy enough to fix. I do have some more thoughts on some of the techniques used in Lush but I’m just going to keep this short and sweet for now and maybe post some more at another time.

Lush Cardigan

Pattern: Lush from Handmade in the UK

Designer: Emily Wessel – tincanknits

Knitted for: Me

Size: S

Wool used (colourway): New Lanark DK (cherry) – 300gm

Needle: 4mm and 3.25mm for body, 4.5mm and 3.75mm for sleeves

Ravelry Project Link: here

Notes: Crochet provisional cast on. Used larger needles for the sleeves as my gauge is tighter in the round. Used 1-stitch buttonhole for 20mm buttons. 10 buttons on 124 stitch by 10 row bands. Cast offs worked with larger needles but otherwise standard cast off.
