FO: Olympic Forest Baby Blanket

Squishy’s second blanket is done. Bit of a slog in the middle when it’s all really cabley and you really need to pay attention to really long rows but once I got past that bit it got fun again. The bind-off (a picot one) took far longer than I expected but I think it was worth it. I like the yarn and the colour (petrol – why is petrol blue-green?) and it’s already been through the washing machine so should cope fine with baby mess.

Olympic Forest Baby Blanket

Pattern: Olympic Forest Baby Blanket

Designer: Very Busy Monkey

Knitted for: Squishy

Wool used (colourway): Stylecraft Luxury Wool Rich DK (petrol) (~285g)

Needle: 5mm

Any problems/changes: Fiddly to begin with and a time consuming cast off but worked to pattern. Worked cables without a cable needle as there’s never more than 2 to cross over.
