FO: Hobbit’s Winter Cardigan (Roseberry)

Pattern: Roseberry

Designer: Ann Kingstone

Knitted for: Hobbit

Wool used (colourway): New Lanark Chunky (Limestone) – 400g

Size: 2-3yr

Needle: 6mm

Any problems/changes: Cast on using Judy’s magic cast-on rather than turkish. Knitted it inside out to get the purl bumps on the RS. This makes the first half of the stitches twisted and needed to be worked through the back loop. Used magic loop rather than two circulars as I only have one (a 100cm one), changed to working flat on row 17. Sleeves: Worked on DPNs, set up with 13 stitches on 1st and 3rd needles and 10 on 2nd. This means that the cable pattern is contained by the 2nd needle.
Despite getting gauge I’ve used two balls of yarn less than the pattern calls for.
